You have evidently misunderstood what the 50 physicists have told you.  At
least you have misunderstood the letter from Professor Fitchen.  
What he told you about the local validity of E = mc↑2 and the local propagation
along straight lines is precisely according to "modern physics".  Your
"false assumption" is mainly an oversimplification of modern physics.
